The Amazing Zero Turn John Deere Lawn Mower

By Stephen Drury

No one would disagree that the biggest responsibility of owning your own residence is the upkeep. Maybe no task outlines this better than cutting the lawn. It's never been a welcomed chore, but there has been an epiphany for some and it's come in the shape of the zero turn John Deere lawn mower. With a whole handling system, it makes cutting the yard more like a playing video game.

This mower offers a system of controls that are extremely intuitive, although the absence of a steering wheel may throw the driver off initially. On each side of the seat, which sits on top of the mower decks, is a giant lever. Push to progress, pull to go back and alternate between the 2 to make turns, even in reverse. It is that easy and when mastered offers the rider much more control than the average mower. Actually, it has the facility to twirl 360 degrees without shifting back and forth.

It's hard to imagine why these machines weren't invented earlier after trying one. They're a blast to use, and better at reaching those annoying spots around the yard. They easily cuts mowing time in half. The Deere company offers a few popular lines available at most shops.

EZtrak Series residential : Ideal for the average sized home, this mower can chop up 4 acres of grass before needing to be emptied. It's packed with high-quality mower decks and straightforward to use system controls.

ZTrak Estate Series : This series is for the estate land owners, who without doubt don't look forward to the chore. This machine will ride all day and not overheat, thanks to its air-cooled Kohler engines, and with the parking lights installed, it can safely cross intersections.

For those willing to quit whatever superseded machine they could have, there's a real response to the lawn trimming blues out there. It's the zero turn machine. Zip round the yard like Han Solo in Star Wars while taking care of that summer chore. The John Deere lawn mower has one or two models designed for the typical family -- both definitely worth trying out. - 31813
